With over 30 years of 4x4 suspension development, CalOffroad has integrated the most advanced technology into their suspension range. The Platinum Series coils feature tapered wire technology, delivering exceptionally smooth small-bump compliance right through to big hits. CalOffroad's Platinum Series wire technology also tunes a rebound rate into the coil, reducing aggressive rebound and minimising shock fade in extreme conditions. All shocks and coilovers are dyno tested to ensure the coil rate is precisely matched to the shock valving.
Vehicle-specific mounts feature precision-machined ring eyes for accurate fitment, along with a high-end, low-maintenance bush system that effectively isolates road noise and vibration. These maintenance-free strut bushes are engineered to handle water, dust, dirt, snow, mud, and anything else you throw at them — without ever needing greasing.
CalOffroad leaf springs have undergone extensive development to deliver the most advanced and smoothest ride possible. Specially designed wear pads between each leaf ensure optimal performance, while a specific build ratio for each pack allows fine-tuning of when the first stage engages with the second. This delivers a smooth ride whether the vehicle is unladen or carrying heavy loads. A high-flex design enables greater wheel travel, and custom-built leaf packs are available for specific requirements.
When it comes to off-road vehicles, the Bilstein B6 Offroad gas-pressure shock absorber is the ideal suspension solution. Developed to meet the demanding requirements of Australian 4WDs, the Bilstein B6 features a 46mm piston in a mono-tube configuration, providing enhanced performance reserves and extended service life — even during demanding activities like towing or off-roading. Expect superior road adhesion, improved lane-change stability, and precise damper settings that excel in all conditions.
