CalOffroad Platinum Series 4x4 lift kit tour pack for the Toyota Hilux N80 (2015 on). The Platinum tier runs Bilstein-built struts and shocks, a step above the Nitro Pro range. Fronts come fully assembled — spring already fitted to the strut with new tops, ready to bolt straight in. No spring compressor needed.

Rear Shock Length

Standard fits the factory bump stop. Long travel has a shorter closed length and needs a bump stop extension.

Long-travel shock: shorter closed length — we recommend running a bump stop extension so the shock isn't the first thing to bottom out.

Front-Mounted Accessories

Bull bar and winch hang off the front overhang, so essentially all of that weight loads the front axle.

Underbody & Chassis

Mounted between the axles, so only part of the weight transfers forward.

Rock sliders
~20kg/side along the chassis rail — about 35% of that reaches the front axle.
Bash / skid plates
Engine & transfer case plates sit forward of centre — about 75% transfers to the front.
Dual / extra battery
Engine bay, ahead of the firewall — about 90% loads the front axle.
An extra/dual battery sits off to one side of the engine bay, so that side needs a touch of preload dialled in to correct the one-sided weight. We'll set this for you.

Tray, canopy, boxes — mounted behind the cab, so this loads mostly onto the rear axle.
