With over 30 years of 4x4 and suspension development, CalOffroad has developed the Platinum Series Bilstein Coilovers — the most advanced Bilstein coilover available for the Ford Ranger. This involved over 14 months of R&D with leading Bilstein engineers, resulting in the most capable Bilstein coilover on the market for the Ranger.

The CalOffroad Platinum Bilstein struts and shocks are not rebranded units from another vehicle. They are purpose-built by Bilstein Germany to meet CalOffroad's stringent quality requirements, ensuring your Ford Ranger looks and rides exactly how you want it to — reliably, both on and off-road.

The CalOffroad Platinum struts feature one lowering groove and multiple raising grooves, allowing you to adjust the front ride height to suit. CalOffroad Platinum Series Bilstein struts and shocks feature proprietary valving and IFP (Internal Floating Piston) technology, which separates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the oil, eliminating shock fade and oil foaming.

These are not the cheaper US-market versions — they are high-end, fully rebuildable IFP technology shocks made in Germany.

Vehicle-specific upper mounts include fully machined ring eyes for accurate fitment, along with a high-end, low-maintenance bush system that isolates road noise and vibration. These maintenance-free strut bushes handle water, dust, dirt, snow, mud, and anything else you throw at them — without ever needing greasing.

CalOffroad Platinum Coils are designed and made in Australia. All CalOffroad Platinum Coilovers are assembled in Australia. The Platinum Series coils use tapered wire technology, allowing for exceptionally smooth small-bump compliance right through to big hits. CalOffroad's wire technology tunes a rebound rate into the coil, assisting the shock with a less aggressive rebound and reducing shock fade in extreme conditions. All shocks and coilovers are dyno tested to ensure the coil rate is precisely matched to the shock valving.
